DAY 1

Airport Fortaleza/Jeri – Jericoacoara

Your private English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at the airport in Fortaleza or Jericoacoara and you will start your journey to Jericoacoara village, your first location on this amazing trip.

From the airport in Fortaleza to Jericoacoara, you will take an average of 5 hours of drive in a private 4×4 vehicle. From the airport in Jericoacoara to the village, it takes about 30 minutes.

Your entrance fee at the Jeriocoacoara National Park is included. Once you arrive at the village, you will be taken to your accommodation. Make your check-in, and enjoy the rest of the evening as you wish.

DAY 2

Jericoacoara

Buggy ride tour to explore the west coast of Jericoacoara, known as the “ecological side”.

We will depart in the morning from your accommodations at 9 a.m. (times may vary between 8 and 10 a.m. depending on the tide on the day of the tour).

We will head to Foz do Rio Guriu, from where we will take a rustic raft across the river to reach a spot called Mangue Seco, a mangrove cemetery with the Mangrove Air Roots, where we will have a stop for photos and hydration.

Continue along the dunes to Lago da Torta or Lago Grande, whichever is better for swimming during the season. At the lagoons,  experience local restaurants with delicious lunch options. After the meal, chill out, and return to your accommodation at Jericoacoara.

Included: buggy, guide, ferry crossing, and two water slides (per person) down a dune mountain.

DAY 3

Jeri – Delta do Parnaíba

The third day starts with a transfer in a 4×4 vehicle from your accommodations in Jericoacoara, with boarding at 9:00 a.m. and disembark at Porto dos Tatus at the State of Piauí around 12:30 p.m.

The Delta do Parnaíba tour starts by boarding the speed boat for navigation through the waters of the Parnaíba River, where you can contemplate the fauna and flora of the Delta. The first stop is for lunch (not included) at a local restaurant along the river. After, we continue sailing through the streams until Morro do Meio, a formation of dunes that signals the end of the Canary Island. Here, it is possible to go for a walk in the dunes or take a dip in the river.

Then comes the last stop, in front of an island, to observe the beautiful red-colored birds, the “Guarás“. At the end of the observation, at sunset, we return to Porto dos Tatus and then continue to your accommodations in Parnaíba. End of services for day 3.

DAY 4

Delta do Parnaíba – Lençóis Maranhenses (Atins)

Pick up at 9 a.m. and transfer in a 4×4 vehicle from your accommodations in Parnaíba until the municipality of Paulino Neves. Then, cross a wind farm and its immense wind turbines along the beach to arrive at Caburé. A speedboat will be waiting to continue to Atins Village, crossing the Preguiças River. Upon disembarking around 1 p.m. in Atins, another 4×4 type vehicle will take you to your accommodations for check-in.

In the afternoon, at 3 p.m., depart, with a 4×4 and guide, for the tour at Lençóis National Park in the Atins area. There, visit the best lagoons of the season; it may be necessary to walk a little through the dunes to reach them. On the way back, stop for dinner(not included) at a traditional restaurant famous for its grilled prawns. After dinner, continue and arrive at your accommodations at 7:30 p.m.

DAY 5

Lençóis Maranhenses – Airport in São Luís

Another 4×4 vehicle picks you up at your accommodations in Atins and takes you to the boat, which will navigate the Preguiças River for approximately 1 hour to arrive in Barreirinhas. Once you disembark from the boat, another vehicle will wait to continue the journey, approximately 4 hours, to São Luís.

The departure time from your accommodations in Atins is 8 hours before your flight departure time. It is possible to stop for a meal or snack along the route.
