Arrival in Manaus the day before the start of the adventure

We suggest you arrive in Manaus the day before the adventure trip starts so we can pick you up early the next day, at 8 a.m., and get to your lodge by lunchtime.

However, if you arrive on the same day as the program starts, your flight should arrive in Manaus no later than 3 pm.

In Manaus, we recommend these accommodation options: Hotel Saint Paul (5 minutes walk to the Amazon Theather, great cost x benefit), the newly inaugurated Hotel Ibis Styles (2 minutes walk to the Amazon Theather), or Hotel Juma Ópera (beautiful hotel and known as the “hotel of the celebrities”).

You can also ask us for any additional tour you might want in Manaus.

DAY 1

Welcome deep inside the Amazon Jungle

8:00 a.m – leave the hotel or airport by car to the river port Ceasa (20 minutes). Take a speedboat and experience the meeting of the waters, where the Negro and Solimões Rivers meet. This is where the Amazon River is formed, flowing from this area to the Atlantic Ocean. It is truly a magnificent sight to see. The two rivers run side by side without mixing for many kilometers, and you will most likely be visited by a few curious river dolphins as well.

After a stop at the fruit market, take another vehicle for about 40 minutes, and by boat again, we will pass through many lakes and small wildlife-abundant creeks, where you will have the opportunity to see the incredible giant Amazon water lilies with their enormous floating leaves.

You will also pass by native villages and the floating houses of Caboclo`s village. This length of the trip is ideal for observing wildlife due to the abundance of many varied species, such as birds, alligators, fish, sloths, and monkeys. We will arrive at Amazon Turtle Lode around noon when lunch is served, and during this trip to the lodge, you can stumble on a creature at any time.

Lunch: freshwater fish, beef (meat), chicken, salads, and exotic fruits from the Amazon (buffet style).
Let us know if you need a later transfer to the lodge, and we will arrange a private transfer for you.

DAY 1 Continued

Canoeing & Dinner

After lunch, a motorized canoe trip will introduce you to the area, the stillness of pure nature, and a fantastic sunset.

A delicious local dinner is served at 7 p.m.

DAY 2

Ecological Trails & Amazon Immersion

At 05:30 a.m., we leave at sunrise to go birdwatching, a wonderful opportunity to experience the majestic Amazon and all its creatures awakening with the sun. We will return in time for a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast, we go on a jungle trek, where you will learn about the fauna biodiversity and survival techniques in the jungle.

After lunch, we go canoeing with oars to watch more birds and animals, such as sloths and monkeys, and of course, another spectacular Amazon sunset.

Then we return to the Lodge for dinner and after dinner, you have the opportunity to see the beautiful glow of the moon and hear the sounds of the creatures wandering around in the jungle.

DAY 3

Local Native Community & More Wildlife

At 08:00 a.m., we will visit natives at a caboclo`s house to learn about their customs and culture.

• We will visit rubber and cassava plantations and others;
• This is a great opportunity to take photos of the local native people’s customs;
• We can observe how to collect fruits in the jungle, brazil nuts, herbs, vegetables, and spices;
• Learn how they prepare their food using all these goods and taste some of these exotic products;

In the afternoon, we go piranha fishing, and in the evening, we leave again on a canoe for night wildlife watching and alligator spotting. We will catch an alligator with our bare hands, and you can hold the alligator if you want.

DAY 4

Canoe Tour, Dolphins, and return to Manaus

Breakfast at 07:00 a.m., during this morning we will leave the lodge by canoe to observe the freshwater pink and grey dolphins on small channels (Igarapés), flooded forest areas (igapós) (months February to July) and on the rivers and lakes, just paddling and hearing the sounds of the jungle.

Transfer at 01:30 p.m., (after lunch served at noon), back to Manaus with arrival in Manaus around 05:00 p.m.
Drop off at Manaus Airport or your hotel.

Should you need to leave earlier from the lodge to catch your flight, let us know, and we will arrange a private transfer back for you.
